Altiris Authorized Consultant
The Altiris Authorized Consultant (AAC) course teaches the foundational consulting soft skills that Altiris requires of their own consultants. These skills typically cover areas ranging from communication, presentation skills, project management, testing and validation, troubleshooting, to documentation.
Course Objectives

Manage risks, escalate problems, and implement a change control procedure to help improve the outcome of consulting engagements

Comply with Altiris requirements concerning travel and expense reporting

Manage the engagement and set expectations with customers by planning a kick-off meeting, conducting a customer assessment, and whiteboarding your proposed design for the customer

Transfer knowledge to the customer and the best practices of knowledge transfer, which ensure the customer can implement the design

End engagements successfully by conducting a close-out meeting, preparing a final report, and developing a transition strategy

Successfully perform a requirements assessment

Effectively present assessment findings and design to the customer

Properly apply high-level black box design principles
PrerequiSites
- Have Altiris certification
- Currently work for an Altiris Business Partner with a signed Altiris Master Services Outsourcing Agreement (MSOA)
- Have signed an Altiris Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)

- Altiris partners who want to develop a closer relationship with Symantec and to improve on their delivery capabilities
